Welcome to Mere Image Hair Salon. By using our website, contacting us, booking an appointment, visiting the salon, or receiving services from Mere Image Hair Salon, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

2. Services
Mere Image Hair Salon offers professional salon and beauty services, which may include haircuts, styling, color services, highlights, treatments, hair extensions, consultations, facials, men’s grooming, and related beauty services.
All services are subject to stylist availability, consultation requirements, product availability, hair condition, service timing, and professional judgment.
3. Appointments and Online Booking
Appointments may be requested by phone, online booking, or in person. Online booking may be handled through a third-party booking platform.
Booking an appointment does not guarantee that every requested service can be performed. Some services may require a consultation before final pricing, timing, product selection, or service approval can be confirmed.
Mere Image Hair Salon reserves the right to refuse or reschedule a service if the requested service is not appropriate for the client’s hair condition, scalp condition, prior chemical history, health disclosure, timing, or professional safety standards.
4. Consultations
Consultations are used to evaluate hair goals, hair condition, color history, extension suitability, product needs, service timing, and estimated pricing.
Certain services, including corrective color, extensions, major transformations, scalp-related services, or specialty services, may require a consultation before booking the final service appointment.
Pricing discussed during a consultation is an estimate unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
5. Pricing
Pricing may vary based on hair length, density, product usage, time required, service complexity, stylist level, and condition of the hair.
Final pricing may be adjusted if additional time, product, treatments, corrective work, or additional services are required.
Mere Image Hair Salon will make reasonable efforts to discuss pricing before beginning service.
6. Deposits, Cards on File, and Special Orders
Mere Image Hair Salon may require a valid credit or debit card on file to hold an appointment.
Certain services may require a deposit before scheduling. This may include, but is not limited to, color services, blonding, balayage, highlights, corrective color, extensions, bridal services, specialty appointments, or longer appointments.
Special-order items, including extension hair, custom products, or other client-specific materials, may require payment in advance. Once ordered, special-order items may be non-refundable.
Deposits may be applied toward the scheduled service unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Repeated cancellations, late cancellations, or failure to appear for appointments may require a deposit, prepayment, or card on file before future appointments are accepted.
8. No-Show Policy
Failure to appear for a scheduled appointment without notice may result in a no-show fee.
Clients who no-show may be required to prepay or place a deposit before booking future appointments.
9. Late Arrival Policy
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, your service may need to be shortened, modified, or rescheduled to avoid delaying other clients. If the appointment cannot be completed due to late arrival, a cancellation or rescheduling fee may apply.
10. Service Results and Client Responsibility
Salon results depend on many factors, including hair condition, prior color, previous chemical services, medications, minerals in the hair, home care, product buildup, heat damage, and client maintenance.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about their hair history, allergies, sensitivities, scalp conditions, medications, previous chemical services, box color, henna, relaxers, perms, extensions, or other treatments that may affect results.
Mere Image Hair Salon is not responsible for undesired results, product reactions, breakage, fading, or service limitations caused by incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client.
11. Chemical Services, Color, Blonding, and Corrective Work
Chemical services may carry risks, including dryness, fading, uneven lift, breakage, scalp sensitivity, allergic reaction, or the need for multiple appointments.
Corrective color, blonding, balayage, highlights, and major transformations may require more than one session to achieve the desired result safely.
Mere Image Hair Salon does not guarantee that inspiration photos can be exactly duplicated due to differences in hair history, lighting, natural pigment, prior color, texture, density, and condition.
12. Hair Extensions
Hair extension services may require consultation, deposit, signed consent, custom hair ordering, maintenance appointments, and specific home-care instructions.
Clients are responsible for following all maintenance and aftercare instructions. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may result in matting, shedding, slippage, damage, discomfort, or shortened wear time.
Extension hair, once ordered, opened, customized, colored, installed, or used, may be non-refundable.
13. Refund Policy and Service Adjustments
Mere Image Hair Salon does not offer refunds on completed services, products, deposits, special orders, or extension hair unless required by law.
Client satisfaction is important to us. If you are concerned about a service result, please contact the salon within 7 days of the appointment.
At the salon’s discretion, we may offer an adjustment appointment. Adjustment requests must be related to the original service performed and must be reviewed by the salon before approval.
Mere Image Hair Salon does not cover work performed by another salon or stylist after the original appointment.
14. Product Sales
Retail product purchases may be final sale once opened or used.
Unused, unopened products may be considered for exchange at the salon’s discretion. Returns or exchanges must be handled directly with the salon and may require proof of purchase.
15. Health, Safety, and Allergies
Clients must disclose any known allergies, sensitivities, scalp conditions, skin conditions, medical concerns, or prior reactions before services begin.
Mere Image Hair Salon may refuse, modify, or stop a service if there is a concern for client safety, stylist safety, sanitation, or professional suitability.
16. Children, Guests, and Personal Belongings
For safety and comfort, clients should avoid bringing unnecessary guests or unattended children to appointments.
Mere Image Hair Salon is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
17. Photos, Videos, and Social Media
Mere Image Hair Salon may request permission to photograph or record salon work, including before-and-after photos, service results, extension work, color services, or styling results.
Photos or videos will not be used for marketing without client permission.
Clients may not use salon images, logos, branding, website content, or professional work images for misleading, harmful, defamatory, or unauthorized commercial purposes.
18. Website Content and Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, branding, service descriptions, and salon materials, belongs to Mere Image Hair Salon unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use website content without written permission.
19. Third-Party Links and Booking Platforms
This website may contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, online booking systems, review platforms, or payment processors.
Mere Image Hair Salon is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, terms, errors, security, or policies of third-party websites or platforms.
20. Promotions, Gift Certificates, and Offers
Promotions, discounts, special offers, and gift certificates may be subject to limitations, expiration dates, stylist availability, service exclusions, and separate terms.
Promotions cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
21. Right to Refuse Service
Mere Image Hair Salon reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for inappropriate conduct, harassment, unsafe behavior, failure to follow salon policies, repeated no-shows, unpaid balances, or any conduct that disrupts the salon environment.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mere Image Hair Salon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from website use, booking issues, appointment availability, service expectations, third-party platform errors, or failure to follow aftercare instructions.
23. Changes to These Terms
Mere Image Hair Salon may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
